OFFICE MANAGER needed

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and experienced business professional to serve as Director of Office Operations for our locally-owned Community Connection Magazine. We are growing and need someone project management-based who can also help grow our team and our presence in the communities.

The successful candidate must be highly organized, dependable and open to continual learning. Key areas of focus include:

  • Monitoring magazine production activity to meet printing schedules and deadlines

  • Overseeing all financial activity for the business including customer billing, collection procedures and vendor payment approvals.

  • Overseeing process to insure timeliness of each phase of our magazine production

  • Providing support to sales team through interactions with customers while thoroughly communicating and documenting outcomes

  • Creating relationships with customers via phone and email

  • Assist our team of graphics, sales and billing staff

Experience with the following is a plus:

  • Customer negotiation and relationship building

  • Direct management of personnel

  • Information technology requirements and software administration

  • Print publication production, advertising sales and circulation management

  • Proof reading

Software proficiency requirements, or ability to quickly learn, include:

  • Office 365 Suite / Microsoft 365

  • QuickBooks Online

  • Ad Sales Genius (CRM)

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Office Management: 3 years (Required)
